This informal event is an opportunity for all those involved in the shellfish industry to learn more about the the Irish Shellfish Monitoring Programme and how it assists industry to ensure that live bivalve molluscs placed on the market meet the highest standards of food safety. The talks will cover a range of topics of interest to all bivalve shellfish operators with a focus on scallops. The event will start with registration and refreshments at 9am and conclude at 1pm with a light lunch.
